Tualang

Our wild Tualang Honey is a multifloral honey produced by giant bees, (Apis dorsata).

The honey is carefully harvested fresh from the very tall Tualang trees (Koompassia excelsa)  in our 130-million-year-old rainforests of Southeast Asia.

These wild bees migrate over 16,000 square miles and roam free through a tropical paradise.

A high-valued biodiversity hotspot, this area along the equator is home to an abundance of exotic plants and flowers renowned for their medicinal properties.

Gelam

Our wild Gelam Honey is monofloral honey produced by giant bees, (Apis dorsata).

The bees build hives on trees locally called Gelam, or Melaleuca cajuputi Powell.

Gelam is in the same family as the Australian tea tree, and it is renowned for its medicinal properties.

Our gelam honey is carefully harvested fresh in the shrubby vegetation of the coastal area in the east coast of Malaysia only for a limited time before Apis Dorsata further migrates to another exotic wild area.

Kelulut

Our wild Kelulut Honey is a multifloral honey produced by small stingless bees called Kelulut, (Trigona).

The bees are biologically different from any common honey bee.

Trigona make pots from a mix of beeswax and plant resins, and store their Kelulut Honey in these cells (unlike other bees which make hexagonal cells of only beeswax).

Stingless bee honey has a distinctive “bush” taste – a mix of sweet and sour with a hint of fruit – which varies at different times of year depending on the plants visited.

Trigona have populated for over 65 million years in tropical forests with exotic plants and flowers renowned for their medicinal properties.

§  If stored and maintained properly, honey will stay good indefinitely.

§  Do not refrigerate. Store at room temperature (70-80 degrees °F) in a dark place to help retain its flavor, aroma, and consistency.

§  Make sure the container remains sealed tightly.

§  Keep clean by using a dry spoon each time you dip into the jar.

§  This premium honey is raw, unprocessed, and unpasteurized.

§  Therefore, it retains all the naturally occurring bioactive properties.

§  It may become cloudy – but don’t worry - it’s still good!

§  This is a totally normal process called “crystallization”.

§  The superior quality remains intact and is perfectly safe to consume.

§  If honey consistency becomes hard, don’t microwave it - simply place jar in warm (not boiling) water and stir to soften.

Notes:

- Every jar of honey is unique and different - that's the wonderful magic of the bees - they are nature's pharmacists selecting exotic plants and flowers to create custom blends.

- Color, odor, taste and texture of the honey may vary from each production batch due to seasonal factors. Nutrition value is unchanged - it's all phenomenally excellent.

- Dosage is encouraged to be continuous for at least 3 months for better efficacy promotion, although many report to notice differences after 1-2 months.

- Extended use may be required to achieve desired results in some chronic health issues.

- Darker honey means more diversified nectar varieties and minerals, and possesses stronger effectiveness, but all of the colors have amazing benefits in their own way.

- It is generally advisable that all honey is not suitable for infants under the age of 2 years old or people with honey or nectar allergy.
